​Welcoming a new baby home is an exciting journey. Plans will get underway after perhaps, the last trimester into pregnancy, to purchase gadgets that will help monitor the safety of the little one. It could be purchasing of baby monitors, CCTV and other high tech devices so that baby is under 24/7 surveillance. However, parents need to take a step back and think this through. Because with today’s high technology comes the risk of higher EMF exposure. If you are an expectant mother, give your smart watch a break and monitor yourself in other healthy ways.
​ What exactly is electrosmog? Just like pollution, it is something that pollutes the space we live in with something undesirable. In this case, it is the frequencies or signals that are being generated by electronic devices and equipment. Cell or transmission towers, satellite receptors (dishes), strong Wi-Fi routers, your mobile phones and laptops are just a few examples of sources of these frequencies bombarding the space we live in.
